Nash Rose is an American singer-songwriter and comedian based in New York City.
Born in Newark, NJ and raised in Scranton, Pa, she moved to the Big Apple to pursue her dreams in entertainment- a career path that trickles through her bloodline being a descendant of the Late, Great, Louis Armstrong. Prior to officially embarking on her journey into music, Nash performed standup comedy for six years at various venues in New York City and around the country, and also made a guest appearance in Season 2 of Comedy Central's Thank You, Goodnight!
Her latest focus and achievements, however, have been musical. In just two weeks, Nash wrote, recorded, and released her 6 track debut EP Apartment 17 D in July of 2020. In the months following, she would go on to release singles Soul Cry, Touch Me, and Champagne Mami, all available on streaming platforms.
Her new EP, "Interludes", is set to be released on March 15, 2021. Interludes features five interlude style songs that tell an overall story of the inner emotions leading up to a suicidal moment in her life and overcoming that very experience.
In fact, it's because of this experience that Nash now considers herself to be an advocate for mental health and spends her free time doing charity work for this cause as well as helping to diminish food insecurity in New York City.
